This assembly can be welded into your frame.
It is very easy to adjust chain tension with this unit.
1/2 cross locking bolts. Loosen these then there are two 1/2-20 threaded adjusters at the rear to crank the inner box forward or back to adjust chain tension. Once you achieve your desired tension, lock the side bolts down and hit the dirt!

This kit combined with other kits we offer can be used to replace your VW front beam suspension and turn it into a dual A-arm long travel or in a complete new chassis build. One of the most important & critical areas of off road buggies is the front suspension & steering. We have designed & developed a front A-arm kit, that will make one of the hardest areas to build on a buggy now one of the easiest. The A-arms are built in a jig for consistent performance & quality.

- 1” dia x .095” thick DOM tubing
- ¼” & 3/16” thick laser cut plates
- Threaded tube ends
- CNC machined mild steel A-arm ends

19” of travel with less than .080” bump steer thru the suspension travel
70” wide track width at outside of tires
Designed for FOX 2.0 air shocks 10” travel
Designed for Latest rage end load steering rack

The chassis mount plates are ¼” thick steel and are made so that the forward tubes lock them into place turning them into their own jig for perfect placement.

These also set the right position for the A-arm heims locations.

There is also a steering rack mount plate that interlocks with the chassis mount plates, to set the perfect position for the rack, and almost eliminating bump steer.

These plates can be ordered for 1 ¼” tubing or 1 ½” chassis tubing sizes.

7 3/8" rotor kit fits inside 10" wheels 9 1/2" rotor kit fits 12" wheels minimum

NOTE: While a non heat treated stub axle is plenty fine in light weight single seat buggies, we recommend heat treated stub axles on higher powered and heavy buggies. With so many different buggy styles and applications it is impossible for us to determine your need for heat treated or non heat treated stub axles. this decision is solely up to you, as the builder, whether your buggy needs stronger heat treated stub axles.
If you decided later that you want the stronger heat treated axles, they are dimensionally the same and can be easily changed out to replace your standard stub axles.
